” As people, we have a VERY complicated relationship with the truth.

Very few of us actually WANT it, no matter what we might say to the contrary. Very few of us truly see The Actual Value of Truth.

Often, those of us who are resistant to the truth also have a very hard time discerning what is REAL and what is TRUE.

We can also AVOID SHAME by avoiding truth.

We tend to deliberately not take things personally and have hard time understanding that any NEGATIVE TRUTH or anything negative we are experiencing is about US.

Truth involves OTHER PEOPLE.

Pretend and illusion, only involves one. “

On this ‘controversial’ topic  we had so much ‘fun’  at our Healthy Boundaries, Healthy Relationships – Camp Retreat Istria, Croatia last week.

In our small and intimate group at the retreat, many truth bombs were thrown at once in too much of our deep rooted fear and shame, all within an illusion held by our copying mechanisms for decades.

As a result, just within a week, love, connection and trust within my own partnership and friendships have grown and deepen immensely.

On the other side, one of the retreat’s participants decided to block me on social media and one of my long time friendships is currently dissolving out of its illusion.

Truth is indeed, a very touchy subject amongst us humans.
